Richard Wrathell

I am a descendant of a Richard Wrathell, born about 1852 in Canada site
unknown. He emmigrated to Michigan through Sanilac county. Baptised in
1890 in Michigan, he married Victoria (Elizabeth) Grogan date unknown.
Richard and Victoria had three children, George Robert 1882, Anna 1892,
and John ?. Richard had two brothers, Wes and Hiram. Richard died 1909
in Iosco County, Michigan. We have located one WRATHELL, Richard from
the 1871 Ontario census, plus four WRATHALL from the same census.
Richard (1852) death certificate shows he was born in Canada - no area
mentioned, his father was Richard birthplace England, his mother
Jennifer Phillips no place of birth for her.

Marriage records and baptismal records have been found, shows spellings of Wrathall and
Wrahtell. Richard was born in Chinguacousy Township, York Co(now Peel Co.) Ontario. April
2 1852, to Richard Wrathall and Mary Jane Phillips.
Then family moved to Bruce Co.,Ont. Richard m: Elizabeth Victoria Grogan (b:February 23
1859) They were married in Lucknow, Bruce Co., Canada. on Sept.
16, 1875. Confirmed siblings, Samuel, Hiram, George.

Samuel and wife Margret France is buried in Southhampton
Cemetary, Bruce Co, Ont. with a couple of their children, Samuel
had one living son James whose family still reside in multi parts
of Canada, Ont., BC,NS. Hiram, Richard, George, moved to Michigan
thru Port Huron, and Sanilac Counties. Need to locate the parents
of these gentlemen, Richard (1871 census) and his wife, Mary Jane
Phillips( per marriage registraions).
They resided in Lucknow, Ont in 1876.
